Sustainable Fisheries and Aquaculture

Empowering Coastal Communities to Sustain and Protect Marine Life

Our Objective: To deliver innovative and collaborative solutions that secure the future of our coastal and marine resources.

Our oceans are in crisis — from destructive fishing practices to plastic pollution, fragile marine ecosystems are under relentless strain. The damages caused to mangrove and corals are immense and has lead to reduced replenishment of fish stock. This project works hand-in-hand with local cooperatives and government stakeholders to protect marine resources through inclusive, sustainable solutions. With over a decade of financial and governance training and four years of hands-on capacity building in marine conservation, we empower communities (especially women) to monitor, manage, and protect their coastal environments.

Our main focus is on sustainable fishery management and eco-friendly practices. We are also committed to creating an inclusive environment to all marginalized groups. Additionally we provide essential business and financial training to achieve economic stability and reduce the dependence on fishing and the middleman. We have also supported many fisherwomen in their seaweed and sea cucumber farming businesses.

By supporting eco-friendly practices, inclusivity, responsible aquaculture, and equitable access to markets — including future digital tools like bidding apps — we are driving change from the ground up and restoring balance in marine life and livelihoods.
